ABOUT THE BUENOS AIRES MUSIC VIDEO FESTIVAL

Buenos Aires Music Video Festival (BAMV Fest) is considered the first international music video event in Argentina created to promote and reward the best productions of each year.

The Festival encompasses an artistic community made up of musicians, directors, producers and video professionals, organizing various activities throughout the year and making visible works by national and international artists.

We seek to recognize the creative and innovative work of professionals and filmmakers of music videos in Argentina and worldwide. We want to promote the production and dissemination of quality work that contributes to the City's pop culture through screenings and various activities.

AND WHAT ABOUT THE CATEGORIES?

The Official Competition of BAMV FEST offers 33 distinctions to the best videos of the year divided into 5 Competitions: General, Favorite, Technical, Special and Formats.

 
The 5 general categories are Video of the Year, Best Director, Best Music Video - Argentina, Best Music Video - LATAM and Best Music Video - International; and are chosen by an International Jury .

We also have categories open to the public vote such as Favorite Video, Pop Video, Rock Video, Urban Video and more.  

With the intention of expanding our view of the music video world, Buenos Aires Music Video Festival has the Formats Competition for Documentaries, Lyric Videos, Fashion Films, Making Of and Live Sessions, among others.
